Jim Dine’s passion for printmaking began at the young age of 17, with his discovery of the woodblock technique. Throughout his decades-long career, Dine has skillfully honed his craft, employing timeless symbols such as bathrobes, Venus, and romantic hearts. Through these symbols, he is able to explore techniques of color and texture in a medium he prefers: printmaking.
