AMERICAN

Having spent a lifetime in the Visual Arts. Debbie Carfagno became a master seriographer, creating prints for numerous artists, most notable Andy Warhol from 1975-1983. In the 1980’s, she founded Now Voyager Gallery in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, exhibiting both local and New York artists. Since moving to Miami in 1994, she has been developing her own artistic vision, as well as establishing success as a private dealer, specializing in Bluechip Pop Art.

The fabrication process of her work includes converting hand drawings to cut aluminum, which are then painted in oil. Her practice seeks to create a highly dimensional effect by reducing images to their essence. This work lies between painting and sculpture, balancing abstraction and realism.
