His inspirations become the focal point of his work, paying homage and tribute to the techniques of the greats while still managing to infuse his own unique style into every piece. Mr. Brainwash intentionally references all these artists in a repetitive manner to illustrate the saturation of everyday symbols in marketing. By repeatedly using iconic images such as Jean-Michel Basquiat’s crown and Keith Haring’s angel on a vibrantly layered background of spray cans and positive words, these symbols become blurred and lose their impact. The viewer becomes ‘brainwashed’, forced to focus on the emotions the pieces evoke as a whole.

The symbols alone carry immense historical significance and when placed together in Mr. Brainwash’s world of chaos and color, the viewer is compelled to experience the joyous emotions they evoke, rather than just their iconic significance. In summary, Mr. Brainwash’s artwork is an extraordinary synthesis of classic art and modern street art, transcending boundaries and leaving an indelible impression on anyone who views it.
